Irish civil partnerships in Spain

Is that it’s your day in the sunshine, scrupulously planned with us here to guide you through the day with the minimum of fuss, stress, and drama.

If you are seeking a Catholic Ceremony, and neither you or your partner has been divorced, we can offer you a beautiful church ceremony set in one of the island’s prettiest churches. The paperwork can seem daunting but we are here to hold your hand every step of the way and set up a personal calendar and reminder system so you know what paperwork is required and where it should go. This element does not start until 6 months prior to your wedding.
If you are a non-Catholic we can offer a highly personalised and beautiful Church of England Blessing ceremony at one of our stunning locations.  All you have to do is register your civil ceremony at your local registry office which is a very simple 5 minute formality. You don’t even exchange rings and (if preferred) don’t tell the guests that you have done the legal side at home. You then jet over to the sunshine and have a full blessing ceremony at a beautiful location of your choice.
If, however, you are seeking a Non-Religious Humanist Ceremony we offer beautiful celebrations set in any number of exclusive locations, many of these little hidden gems. This could be a casual affair at a beautiful beachfront location, a soirée on a luxury yacht, a candlelit reception in ruins or amongst the vineyards, a fiesta in a bodega, a typical Spanish Finca or chic 5 star hotel. Let the island be your playground. All our Celebrants are professional and fully qualified.
If your looking for a Civil Partnership Ceremony, the UK and Spain have recognised same sex marriages since 2005 whilst for Ireland the Civil Partnership Act has come into effect as of 1st January 2011 allowing gay marriages for the first time.  A civil partnership may be registered for persons of the same sex, if neither of them are already a civil partner or lawfully married, they are over 16 years of age (with parental consent) or are over 18 years of age.  If you an Irish or UK residents you will need to register your civil ceremony at your local registry office which is a 5 minute formality before jetting off to the sun to celebrate the blessing ceremony. Residents of Spain must have been resident for two years to be eligible to have the full Civil    In addition to our wedding and blessing ceremonies we also create wonderful Renewal of Vow celebrations for clients wishing to reaffirm their commitment to each other. Whatever the milestone, Weddings to Envy will create a service personalised to you both set in one of our fabulous venues with everything that you had, or didn’t have, at your initial wedding.
